Freshwater Point offers great opportunities
for those interested in birds of the feathered variety. The
Tamar bird sanctuary is opposite Freshwater Point and can
be seen from the property. The renowned Tamar Island Wetland
Walk is only 10 minutes drive from the property. Here you
can explore an extensive boardwalk through reeds, marshland
and mudflats and observe birds in their natural habitat. The
walk, which ends at Tamar Island, takes 1 - 2 hours and is
a must for nature lovers.
Cradle Mountain and wilderness walks are a comfortable return
